I've been doing these series for about a year now and I'm changing it up a bit here. Here I've got a flower blooming from a rotting tree trunk in the middle of dense greenery. The words that are surrounding it are the pollen of the attitude of thriving wherever you are. Bloom Where You're Planted is a series of paintings that were inspired by something Joel Osteen said in one of his sermons. He was talking about wherever God puts you, that's where you need to thrive. I think even if you're not a believer, you can certainly appreciate that it's important to your well being to make the best of whatever situation you find yourself.
